Pay several invoices with a transfer remittance

How to make the SEPA transfer file for your bank, and when the invoices count as paid.

A remittance is a file of SEPA transfers you upload to online banking to pay several supplier invoices at once. You'll find it in Expenses › Remittances.

  1. Press New remittance and choose the bank account (in euros) you pay from and the execution date.
  2. Tick the invoices to pay. Those of a supplier with no IBAN can't be ticked: add it on their record.
  3. Press Create remittance and download file, and upload the file in your bank's online banking.

NaPa makes one transfer per supplier, in the Cuaderno 34.14 (ISO 20022) format. Your company is identified by its NIF and the bank account's remittance suffix, usually 000; if your bank gave you another, change it in Banks.

When they count as paid

Creating the remittance posts nothing: it stays Awaiting debit. When the debit appears on the statement and you reconcile it, NaPa suggests the remittance's invoices and the payments are recorded.

If the bank rejected it or you never sent it, press Withdraw remittance: its invoices can be paid again. An invoice in a remittance can't be cancelled.
