Invoice rejected by the AEAT: what to do
What a rejection or an acceptance with errors means, and how to send the invoice again.
If the AEAT rejects an invoice's record or accepts it with errors, the invoice shows it with the code and the reason the AEAT gives. Whoever issues invoices in your company, and your accounting firm, also get an email.
What to do
- If the mistake is in the invoice's details (the amount, the customer), don't send it again as it is: issue a corrective invoice or, if it should never have been issued, cancel it.
- If not (for example, a NIF the AEAT didn't have yet, or a fault already fixed), press Send again.
Sending again creates a new record of the same invoice, which doesn't change, marked as a correction of the previous one, and NaPa sends it. The invoice goes back to Pending validation until the new answer. If what the AEAT rejected was a cancellation, the cancellation is sent again.
