Add suppliers
A supplier's details for recording their invoices and paying them, and what happens if they're also a customer.
In Suppliers, press New supplier.
- NIF if they're Spanish. If they're from another EU country, their VAT number: NaPa checks it in VIES and offers the details it returns.
- Address, starting with the postal code.
- IBAN to pay them (optional): needed to pay them with a transfer remittance.
- Payment terms: the days they give you to pay. NaPa uses them to work out the due date of each of their invoices.
- Usual withholding (optional), for example a freelancer's IRPF: NaPa suggests it on their invoices.
- Expense account (optional): the account NaPa suggests when you record their invoices.
- Contacts (optional).
If they're also a customer
The same party can be a customer and a supplier. If you add a supplier with the NIF of a customer you already have, NaPa adds the supplier role to it instead of creating another.
Each recorded invoice keeps the supplier details it was recorded with: correcting them later doesn't change earlier invoices.
