If you're an accounting firm
How an accounting firm registers its account, accepts its clients, organises its team and suspends or ends an engagement.
An accounting firm has its own NaPa account. Companies invite it by email and, once it accepts, it works on them with their data, without anyone having to send anything.
Register the firm
From the list of companies, Register an accounting firm. You can also do it when accepting your first invitation, with Register and accept.
Accept a client
The company invites you from NaPa and you get an email with a link, valid for 14 days. Open it, choose which of your firms will work with it and accept. The company then appears on your home screen, and it sees you as Active.
The firm's page
In the list of companies, under Your accounting firms, open yours:
- Clients: each engagement with its status. You can open the company, suspend the engagement (you stop seeing its data and the reserved tasks go back to the company; only whoever suspended it can resume it) or end it. The company gets an email.
- Team: the firm's people and their roles, as in a company (your team). Also, each person sees all clients or only specific clients.
Tasks the company reserves to you, such as closing periods, can only be done by you while the engagement lasts.
