Record payments received
How to record what your customers pay you, each invoice's due date and overdue invoices.
Each invoice shows what's left to collect: To collect, Partly collected or Collected, and Overdue if its due date passed without payment. The due date comes from the customer's payment terms, or from the date you set in the draft.
Record a payment
On the invoice, press Record a payment and enter the date, the method (transfer, direct debit, cash or card), the bank account if there is one and the amount received. NaPa creates the payment's journal entry.
If you're paid on the spot, tick Paid when issued in the draft.
If you make a mistake, you can cancel the payment (its history is kept). When you reconcile the bank, NaPa suggests the unpaid invoices that match each deposit.
On the home page, Pending reminds you of overdue unpaid invoices.
